Find out when it started
The useful question is not whether you have a backup but whether you have one from before the compromise. Thirty days of daily copies, locked so an attacker cannot delete them, usually gives you that.
Restore, then close the door
Restoring a clean copy removes the attacker's files, but not the weakness that let them in. Update plugins and themes, and change every password, straight after.
When there is no clean copy
If the infection is older than your backups, or you cannot tell when it began, our malware clean-up service has an engineer remove it by hand for one fixed price.
Then back up the clean site
Once the site is clean, keep it connected so every following day has a copy stored where an attacker on your server cannot reach it.
