What a backup contains
Exactly what is in each copy, and what is not.
The site's files
Over SSH, the whole site folder you named is archived. With the plugin, the WordPress installation is archived, minus any wp-content folders you excluded.
A database export
Each backup includes a database export: over SSH through WP-CLI, with the plugin through its own export. Each backup records whether its database export is included.
One archive per backup
The copy is stored as a single compressed archive, which is also what you get when you download it.
What is not included
Anything outside the site folder, such as email accounts, DNS records or other sites on the same hosting account, is not part of the backup.

Sites on Zinn Digital® WordPress hosting are backed up by the hosting plan itself, with malware scanning and a firewall included, so there is no separate backup bill. This product is for the sites you keep somewhere else.
