Zinn® BackupsWho uses Zinn® Backups
Take a backup before you change host
For anyone about to move a WordPress site and wanting a copy that does not depend on either host.
A copy outside both hosts
During a move the site exists on two servers and belongs fully to neither. An off-site backup is the copy that is still there if the old account closes early or the new one is set up wrong.
Download it and keep it
Any backup can be downloaded as an archive of the files plus a database export, which is exactly what most migrations start from.
Or move it to us
If the new host is Zinn Digital®, backups come with the hosting plan and you can stop the off-site tier once the site has moved.
Keep it for 30 days
Copies are kept for 30 days, which covers the weeks after a move when problems usually surface.
Included with Zinn Digital® hosting
Host the site with us and backups are part of the plan
Sites on Zinn Digital® WordPress hosting are backed up by the hosting plan itself, with malware scanning and a firewall included, so there is no separate backup bill. This product is for the sites you keep somewhere else.
