Choose a backup size tier
Which tier a site needs, and how to change it.
Tiers are by site size
The 1 GB, 10 GB and 50 GB tiers cover one site each, up to that size including its files and database.
Measure the site
Your host's control panel usually shows the disk space the site uses. Choose the tier above that figure, leaving room to grow.
Moving up a tier
Buy the larger tier for the same site. The larger tier applies and the two do not add together, so cancel the smaller one from Billing to stop paying for it.
Sites over 50 GB
A site larger than 50 GB is outside every tier. Consider excluding large folders that are backed up elsewhere, or hosting the site with us, where backups are part of the plan.
